How Seasoned Sistas Travel Began
Seasoned Sistas Travel in Farmville is a mature women's travel group founded in 2023 by organizer Kyle Bouknight. We design small group cultural trips and day outings for mature Christian women who want safety, sisterhood, and joy without planning stress. What started as a private Facebook group has grown into a close-knit community where women connect, travel, and celebrate the season they are in together.
Kyle's Heart For Sisterhood
When Kyle created a simple Facebook travel page in November 2023, she pictured mature women of many backgrounds sharing tables, stories, and stamps in their passports. Years of raising families and serving churches had taught her how often women put themselves last. She wanted a safe, faith-aligned space where sisters could say yes to travel without worry, knowing someone caring and organized was handling the details thoughtfully for them.
A Community Of Seasoned Sistas
Seasoned Sistas Travel welcomes mature Christian women who crave connection, culture, and comfort. Our groups stay intentionally small, usually between six and fifteen women, so no one is overlooked or rushed. We laugh in museum gift shops, share quiet moments in vineyards, and cheer for each other's first stamps and new steps. Women arrive as individuals and leave feeling like nieces, cousins, and church sisters who finally made time for themselves.

Kyle Bouknight - Founder
Kyle Bouknight is the organizer behind Seasoned Sistas Travel, and she is very much a sister sitting right beside you. Years of raising a family, serving in church, and planning trips for friends showed her how many mature women quietly longed for safe, joyful travel with like‑hearted companions. In November 2023 she started a simple private Facebook group, then watched it grow into a loving community of women eager to say yes together. Kyle plans each outing with clear communication, gentle pacing, and thoughtful touches that say, "You matter here." She believes travel should feel peaceful, not pressured, and that every woman deserves to feel seen and unhurried. When you reach out, you connect directly with Kyle, who listens, answers questions with honesty, and walks with you step by step so you never feel alone.
